ABOUT THIS BOOK
After Jabu’s father committed suicide, life became ferociously difficult for his widowed mother, as she was four months pregnant. She was left lonely in harsh conditions of poverty, having to take care of her other five children and to deal with the challenges of pregnancy all by herself. Growing up in these conditions, Jabu discovered the Applied Love principles for a successful and prosperous life of love.

A NOTE FROM THE AUTHOR
I wrote Applied Love as medication for people who have lost hope, going through stress and depression, people who need an encounter with God, to discover the principles of success and prosperity through love. Applied Love was motivated by the struggles and sufferings I experienced in my life, mainly the suicide of my Father and eventually how the love of God, hard work and perseverance change my life for the better. I discovered that our God is a creative God and He has created us in His image; thus we too have the creative abilities like Him. We need to pray daily to God for creativity and abilities to produce new opportunities in our lifetime, for it is written in Hebrewes11:6 NIV “And without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him.“
AUTHOR CAREER BIOGRAPHY
Jabu Mahlangu is a qualified Metallurgical Engineer with over 8 years industry experience. He worked for high profile companies including Sasol Mining and ArcelorMittal as a Metallurgical Engineer. Jabu is passionate about Research, Design and Manufacturing, the three fields of study which he obtained distinctions in his final year, when he completed his BSc Honours in Metallurgy and Materials Engineering in the year 2011 from the University of Witwatersrand. These are the fields which gave birth to the researcher and an author he is today. Most of Jabu’s work is mainly focused on the projects he initiated and completed at Sasol Mining and currently at ArcelorMittal Oxygen Steel Making. He has received recognition gold awards for successful implementation of projects such as “Reduction of Desulphurization Yield Loss by addition of 2% Cryolite in Fluidized Lime” and “Implementation of Fluidized Lime as a Desulphurization Reagent”. He is passionate about education and have completed numerous online Diplomas from https://alison.com/ which includes: Business Management and Entrepreneurship, Project Management, Operations Management, Change Management, Supervision, Stress Management and many more. Jabu loves giving back to the community and currently offers free courses on Leadership, Management and Problem Solving.
